Trimming all the early gains, Indian benchmarks slipped into negative terrain during the noon trading session amid profit booking in IT, Teck and telecom stocks. Investors were cautious ahead of Q3 results by Infosys to released later in the day after the country's largest IT firm TCS posted a 3.9 per cent drop in profit and a 2.7 per cent increase in revenue for the October-December quarter.
At 13:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 34467.56 down by 35.93 points or by 0.1 per cent, while the NSE Nifty was at 10629.85 down by -21.35 points or by 0.2 per cent.
Sensex touched intraday high of 34638.42 and intraday low of 34342.16 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 10690.25 and intraday low of 10597.1.
